Willard was a member of South Olive Christian Reformed Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army in Germany from 1951-52. He worked as a maintenance electrician at Sunbeam, and also as custodian at Lombard CRC.
Willard was preceded in death by his parents Garnet and Minnie (Fisher) Klein; sisters Angeline (Henry) Groenboom, Theresa (Henry) Marema, Lucy (Clarence) Evenhouse; brothers Henry Klein, John Klein Garnet Klein; and a nephew Roger Groenboom; In-laws, Aldrich (Winnie) Evenhouse, Dr. Henry (Cynthia) Evenhouse, Edward Evenhouse, and Louise Evenhouse.
He is survived by his wife Karen (Evenhouse) Klein; a son Thomas (Andrea Rediger) Klein; grandchildren Evan Mitchell Klein and Ruby Kate Klein; in laws, Fannie Evenhouse, John (Marcia) Evenhouse, Richard (Georgia) Evenhouse, George (Carol) Evenhouse, James (Carol) Evenhouse;

Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, April 12, 2018, at South Olive Christian Reformed Church, 6425 120th Ave., Holland. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from 4-8pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.
