Yurgealitis Family - My thoughts & prayers are with you all during this time. Although I was just a little guy during our time together, I have nothing but fond memories of John. John - Thank you for carving out your time to spend with us little people in sports. I can’t remember all of our life events together, but I will always remember how you made me feel during those times. Dear Sue, J.P., Jeff and all of the family,John was full of life and good spirit....I can still hear his hearty laugh. Our birthdays were only a coupleof weeks apart and one of my favorite remembrances will be of the time we celebrated our fortieth birthday together. We had a live band and a bar-tender and had moved the furniture out of our backroom to clear the area for dancing. After a time, John and I slipped away next door to his house and changed into our "disguises"....like an elderly couple. We came back and the band (who had been cuedahead of time) played "Tea for Two" while John and I entertained everyone with a "dorky" little minuet-styled dance. We celebrated our fiftieth at John and Sue's and there was a 1950's theme with lots of good dancing to that old-time rock and roll. The New Year's Eve parties were always a blast at the Yurgealitis house and one time there was a party with a western theme where a horse was availablefor photo-ops. Also, I can never forget the great fun trip Derek and i took with John, Sue and the boysto the Bahamas. I kept the boys in my room to give John and Sue time for some romantic interlude.It made us laugh when we found out that their room overlooked a garbage (or sewage?) recycling plant....but we had loads of fun any way. (J.P. and Derek had their first pinacoladas there but they didnot realize that there was alcohol in them so they both got a bit tipsy. Yes, I have scores of memoriesof John and all of the family. For years they would come to my house for a Christmas dinner. Seeingeveryone age and move away has seemed like a big "downer" but I guess that is the way life's cycleoperates. I am just very glad that I had the chance to know the family so well....the experience wasenriching.Esther Bonnie Rosa Cintron

Today's service is gonna be the 2nd most painful day of my life. First one being the day you passed 1/17/19. I feel like part of me died with you that day, leaving an emptiness inside that will never again be whole. You were my everything, my dad, my friend, my advisor, my coach, but mostly my HERO. I have no idea who to turn to now for the fatherly advice you once gave. Somehow I have to find the strength to push forward. And I know that strength will come from amazing memories and teachings you've provided in my lifetime. And also from my loving wife, kids, mother, brother, family and friends. I am honored to be your son and will always try and make you proud. I always said if I could be just 1/2 the man you were, then I'd be a great man. You will never be forgotten. I sit here remembering things that happened in the years that I knew John. He came into my life about 1961.when my sister Sue brought him home to meet the family. A few years latter they were married and I never stopped calling him Brother. He taught me many things like hunting and fishing when we would go up to Seneca Lake.. Deer hunting was one of my favorites - when we finished hunting for the day, the cards and beer would come out. We had to sleep 2 to a bed due to the amount of people there. But John managed to get a bed all to himself because he snored so bad.. The years went by and John decided to open a business in Florida. At this point he and Sue offered to rent the house they were in. Joan and I took the offer, we eventually bought the house and still there after 45 years. John also helped me get my job at Pan Am in 1969, which became Delta, and that lasted for 39 years . John was good to us, John was there for us.. Joan and I will miss him dearly , God Bless and love to all STAY STRONG!

I remember when I decided to retire and I put my home up for sale and it sold in 2 days. I had to work another 7+ weeks until my formal retirement date. John, Sr. offered me their Miami Lakes house until I retired. He would not accept any money and I appreciated his generosity as traveling to work now would only take 15 minutes. He had the company put in a DVR so I could tape, "The Young and the Restless", which I have watched since the 70's. He was always generous with his children and grandchildren. They all were spoiled rotten but he enjoyed watching their excitement. He was always there to help when needed. When he looked at Sue, you knew she was his queen bee. The love poured from his eyes. He worked hard and has left a insurmountable legacy for his family. Thank you John for loving my daughter as your daughter. I remember before they got married and you gave her a beautiful ring and told her that you loved her as a daughter. You had just returned from a business trip from Central America and had bought ring for her. As her mother, I was touched by your sincerity and love for her. As for the grandkids, yep, you spoiled them but that's what we grandparents do as they are our legacy and we are allowed to do that. You will be sorely missed but rest assure, I know you will be at every event and will be there in spirit for the good and bad times. LOL Gale (Tracy's mom)
