Betty was the sweetest person I have had in my life. When I was seven and eight years old Betty and Oliver lived in nearby Benecia, California. We would visit and go on outings to parks, museums, to see different places in the area. Our dad would be so happy to be able to share the time with Betty and her family.
Betty was so positive and thoughtful and kind. Even with two little ones and Steven on the way, she had time to make a young girl feel special. There was a very giving smile and kind words.
My first memory of her was from a letter my mother read to me from Betty, she must have been twelve. It was so loving and selfless, wishing my mom well in her sweet wonderful way. I am so thankful to have had Betty as my sister.

I remember her standing behind me during their visit to COTH one Sunday, and hearing her amazing voice. Absolutely beautiful.

Oliver and family,
So saddened to hear about Betty. She was a precious and gentile woman. She was always delightful the times we were with you and her . Justin and Jessica loved her dearly as she did them. Oliver, be proud of time you spent caring for her in her illness. You did well. May God give you comfort and peace.
