So many good memories come to mind. Calvin Howard has been such a model of faith to us always. One very special memory is when we attended West End Baptist as a newly married couple in the sixties. We went to a couples training union class Calvin and Vivian started on Sunday evening with maybe only six in attendance. With those two leading, it grew to about sixty coming from all over our community. We had the best time showing Christlike love as we learned truths they shared and even began a sign up to have food making it more fun since it was around our normal supper time. We look forward to more loving fellowship in heaven with them in God’s perfect timing. Sandra and Ed Daniels

I am so sorry that Calvin is gone. A finer man we couldn't want to know. He was always willing to help people with their wills and legal affairs. We knew we could always depend on him. His family has been wonderful in the past couple of years. Brooke, I know you earned a gold star in heaven. I hope your father is singing in heaven's choir. He always loved singing in the choir so much. I am sad that we won't be able to hear him on earth any longer. My prayers are with the family during this time
