Carrie D. Clarkston

Carrie D. Clarkston, age 90, a native of Fairfax, La., and a resident of Franklin, died Sunday, January 30th at 11:30 AM at her residence. Visitation will be Friday, February 4th, at The First Pentecostal Church on Barrow and Lee Charles St. in Franklin, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Franklin Mausoleum. Carrie leaves to cherish her memories; seven sons, Edward (Ethel) Clarkston, Jr. of Houston, Tx., Joseph D. (Dorothy Mae) Clarkston of Garden City, La., Walter L. (Dorothy) Clarkston, Sr. of Franklin, Jonathan E. Clarkston, Sr., of Pineville, La., Emmanuel J. Clarkston of Metairie, La., Barry J. (Sandra) Clarkston, Sr., of Franklin and James C. (Wendy) Clarkston of Mapleton, Ga; five daughters, Mrs. Royal (Carrie C.) Stewart, Mrs. Darryl (Edlena C.) Brice and Mae B. Clarkston all of Franklin, Mrs. Autrey (Tracy C.) Johnson, III of Stanley, KS., and Mrs. Alonzo (Antonia D.) Petty of Huntsville, Al; twenty grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Carrie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Clarkston, Sr., her parents, three brothers, a sister and a daughter, Elizabeth Clarkston.
