Mable D. Madise, age 69,a resident of Jeanerette, died Monday, May 24th, at 3:43 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette. The visitation will take place at The First Jerusaleum Baptist Church in Jeanerette, Saturday, May 29th, from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. The burial will be in the Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Jeanerette. Mabel was survived by three sons; Clarence (Renee) Madise, Jr. and Eugene (Shanti) Madise both of Houston, Tx., and Rodney (Adrianne) Madise, Jr. of Jeanerette, two daughters; Mrs. Michael ""Alfreida"" Harding of Verdunville and Loretta Madise ""Kenneth"" of Jeanerette, two brothers, Carson Darbiany of Jeanerette and Roy Fontenot of Jennings, one sister, Mrs. Thelma Rose ""Watt"" Carroll, Sr. of Dallas, Tx., eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
