Alberto Mendoza, also known as ‘Papi’, was a selfless, gracious, outspoken, communicative human being who cherished everything around him. He valued family and the feelings of others regardless of whether or not he knew them personally. Papi was consistently supportive of his wife, daughters, friends, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and even neighbors. He enjoyed being outdoors and rescuing animals; loved dancing with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. Papi enjoyed laughing and drinking a nice cold beer with his family and friends. On sunny days he loved watering plants, grilling delicious chicken, collecting scraps, and singing out loud. Papi was a courageous, assiduous, loving man, he never failed to put a smile on one's face. Everyone in the neighborhood including the teachers at the local elementary down the street knew him as he was such a friendly and chatty person.
To Papi: Although we will miss your smile, your laugh, and mostly your love, we take consolation that you are now in peace. You will always be in our hearts and know that we will always cherish these precious memories we have had the privilege of sharing with you!
Love always.
