Alfonso Muniz Sr.

Alfonso Muniz Sr. our dear son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, age 77, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday July 19, 2018. Alfonso was born June 10, 1941 to Viviana Aguirre-Muniz Ɨ and Jose Maria Muniz Ɨ.

Alfonso is preceded in death by his wife Rafaela Gonzalez-Muniz✝️; father Jose Maria Muniz Ɨ and mother Viviana Aguirre-Muniz Ɨ ;son Mario Octavio Muniz Ɨ ; and sister Evangelina Muniz-Flores Ɨ .

Alfonso is survived by; daughter Elma Rosa Muniz-Moreno ; daughter Blanca Estela Muniz; daughter Myrna Muniz-Ortega; daughter Sandra Muniz; and son Alfonso Muniz Jr. Also left to cherish his memory are 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Alfonso will be held Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 27, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. An interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
