Angela Genna Albora

Our mom Angela Genna Albora was a true hero in every sense of the word & loved us all fiercely. Words can never describe our mom. She was the strongest women I know. Always there to listen or help in anyway. She was the best Italian cook by far. The best Sunday dinners bar none. One of the best seamstresses on the planet - there were just so many things about my Mom I cannot begin to even say. She was there for all of us to the end and still is. She was a cherished wife, and mother who was loved by all her family and friends dearly. She was the glue that kept the family together, she passed on all her traditions to all of us, and created a loving environment to all she met. Everyone who met my mom thought she was special within 5 minutes of meeting her. She will be sorely missed but we are so glad she is finally at rest. Angela Genna Albora is survived by her daughters Dianne Albora Spencer (Jim Spencer); and Janet Ashbrook (William Ashbrook); her grandchildren, Kimberly Rath, Brian Gross(Christie), John Ashbrook, Andrew Ashbrook, Jonathan Ashbrook & Rosalyn Ashbrook. She had 5 great grand children; Evan, Katelyn, Carter, Taylor, and Lorelai. A funeral service for Angela Genna Albora will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 6646 Addicks Satsuma Road, Houston, TX 77084. Viewing will begin at 10:30, followed by Mass at 11:00. Lunch will follow at the Church. A visitation will occur Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 Old Country Rd, Hicksville, New York 11801. An interment will occur Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Holy Rood Cemetery, 111 Old Country Road, Westbury, New York 11590. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Angela's memory to: the Disabled Veterans of America or to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
