Anthony Morado Sr. graduated from Jefferson Davis High School. After graduating high school Anthony joined the Houston Fire Department in July 1974. He proudly served HFD for 38 years climbing the ranks and retired as a Senior Captain in December 2012. The hard worker that he was he also had a long career with FedEx for 28 years. After his retirement he continued to help people in need and his community when he became a dedicated volunteer for the Red Cross Organization.
Anyone that knows Anthony knew him to be an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider, vintage car and truck collector. He also loved to travel but one of his favorite vacations was traveling to Spring Training and baseball parks to see his beloved Astros. He is survived by his wife Alexandra Morado, his daughter Melissa Guerrero and husband Javier, daughter Christina Lopez, his son Anthony Morado Jr. and wife Rosalinda. His step children Alexa Rena and husband John, Ariel Sullivan, and Arinn Sullivan. His grandchildren, Nicolas Guerrero, Matteo Guerrero, Javier Guerrero Jr., Ricky Lopez Jr., Christopher Lopez, Isabela Lopez, Ava Morado, Mia Morado, Oscar Chavira and Halie Chavira. Step-grandchildren Jai, Elijah, Ella, Ellie Rena.
Also by his siblings David and Elaine Morado, Jack and Maria (Cha Cha) Cox, Albert and Carmen Morado, Anita Morado, Laura and Drew Maupin. And countless cousins, nieces and nephews.
