Born on September 16, 1938 in Eagle Pass, Texas, she was born to Manuel and Aurora M. Sanchez. She was the youngest of six siblings; one brother and four sisters. On January 21, 1958 she married Rogelio A. Dominguez. Together they created a legacy throughout their 57 years of marriage. They have five children; three sons, two daughters, ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was an amazing woman who had a passion for cooking in her famous "Carmen's kitchen," spending time with her many friends and customers at the flea market and being the boss of her older sisters. She had a great love for playing the game lotteria and always made sure to make everyone laugh with her jokes and the characters she portrayed. Her favorite of all was imitating her husband whom she called "Honey."
She is leaving us with amazing memories that will forever live in our hearts. Thank you Grand Lady; you were amazing! May you forever rest in peace!
