Damon Leaming was born in Wichita, Kansas on December 16, 1956 to Lewis and Mary Leaming. He worked for Royal York Coffee in Houston for 20 years. He also served as principal caregiver for his son for many years. In his spare time, Damon loved fishing and hunting and playing video games on his computer with friends.
Damon is survived by his lovely wife of 43 years, Jennifer Baron Leaming, and his son, Joseph Leaming, as well as his brother Tony Leaming of Wichita, Kansas, and two nieces, Jessica Leaming Lopez of Bryan, Texas, and Angela Taylor of New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Leaming.
A funeral service for Damon is planned on January 27th at 12pm with friends and family arriving 11am. Details will be posted on this site. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation or the American Heart Association.
