I have known Eric since Boy Scouts. He was one of the good guys, always willing to help you out . He was definitely his own person, blazing his own path and doing what he loved. I admire that and his commitment to his convictions. Eric, you will be missed. God Speed brother.

I remember Eric fondly from his interest in GOP politics. I deeply saddened to learn of his passing. May God lift his family with His holy presences and take him into life eternal.

Eric was something else, a person who marched to the beat of his own drum. Never will I forget him being in boy scouts together and went on a high adventure trip to Canada. We both had great times there and at summer camps. Going to miss you buddy.
RIP my fellow brother Eagle Scout!

Eric always had a smile and was always ready to help. His positive attitude on the various campaign trails, where he was active, was like good medicine. He will be greatly missed. Dear Charles,

So, so sorry for Eric’s sudden, untimely passing. It is my hope that you will find consolation in knowing that, particularly—and especially—in times of pain and sorrow, one is not alone; and that in these difficult moments, you will find the strength to trust in Jesus’s promise that we must share His death in order to share with Him the glory of the resurrection.

We are asked to carry our crosses. However, some are just too heavy to be carried alone. And as much I want to help you carry yours, I can only help you carry it so far. And because it now feels unbearable, let the good Lord carry this cross for you, until you are blessed with the grace to meet Him and your son, Eric, in heaven.

Please extend my condolonces to the entire Waligura family.

Your friend,
Luis /Lucho

Eric was a happy warrior for many of us on the campaign trail. I really enjoyed working with him and will certainly miss his positive presence. May the angels welcome him to heaven
