Estanislao Luna Vasquez 1937 – 2021 Estanislao Luna Vasquez of Houston, Texas entered eternal rest on April 6, 2021. He was born on February 20, 1937 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He immigrated to Houston, Texas in 1969, where he raised his family. He retired from Spring Branch Independent School District in 2003. He was a loving husband, father, doting grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed. He enjoyed music, politics, history, current events, and his pet parrot “Pepe”. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Estanislao Vasquez Delgado and Nazaria Luna Fuentes; siblings Aurora, Bartolo, Santos and Guadalupe Medrano, Homero and Rodolfo Vasquez; and, children Demetria, Martin, Ernesto, Francisco and Homero Vasquez. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Ana Maria; children Nazaria (Julio) Martinez, Julia (Todd) Jordan, Estanislado (Patricia) Vasquez; daughter-in-law Josefina Vasquez; grandchildren, Ana H. (Greg) Artieschoufsky, Mario A. Martinez, and Daniella P. Vasquez; great-grandchildren Anthony and Benjamin Artieschoufsky; and, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
