Felice M. Flores, 91, of Houston, Texas also affectionately known as Fela, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 15, 2021. A native Houstonian, married to Ramiro A. Flores, Sr. for nearly 70 years, and together they had seven children. She was a homemaker and caregiver to her parents and to all her grandchildren. She enjoyed visiting with her family, traveling, a good party surrounded by love and music, road trips to the casino, playing bingo, cooking, and enjoying delicious food with a great beverage in hand. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother full of faith in the Lord, strength, and the love of life. She was never afraid to tell it like it is and she never let her ailments hold her back from living life to the fullest. She was always ready to grab her purse and hit the road. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents Serapio and Ascension Martinez, her son Rudy Flores, brothers Manual Martinez, Porfirio Martinez, Valentine Martinez, John Martinez, Julio Martinez, sister Rose Mancha and survived by her two sisters Jennie Trinidad and Valentina Lopez. Leaving behind her 6 children, Ramsey Flores and wife Sylvia, Richard Flores and wife Gloria, Anna Becerra-Garcia and her husband Mario Garcia, Helen Castillo and her husband Raul, Stella Gurley and her husband Philip, Diana Slade and her husband David; 17 grandchildren, Richard Dow and his wife Mandy, Lisa Chapa and her husband Romeo, Darlene Dow, Veronica Flores, Denise Flores, Michelle Becerra and her husband David Leone, Jennifer Ramirez and her husband Michael, Bryan Mercado and his wife Jessica, Joseph Becerra, Ashley Chavez-Gurley, Daniel Becerra, Thomas Castillo and his wife Valerie, Andrew Castillo, Jordan Stewart and her husband Noah, Zachary Gurley, Alexa Gurley, and Isaiah Garcia; 11 great-grandchildren, Joshua Sarabia, Deserai Calderon and her husband Edwin, Carla Ferreyra and her husband Daniel, Andrew Martinez, Richie Dow, Ramsey Dow, Ryder Dow, Brandon Lewis, Arianna Becerra, Alia Becerra and Brooke Mercado; 5 great-great-grandchildren, Ramiro Calderon, Darla Calderon and Julian Calderon, Melanie Ferreyra and Madelyn Ferreyra to pass on her love, lessons, and legacy.
