Dave and I spent time with Fern and Neil at DQ conventions (too many to count).
Neil was our Mims man.  He came to visit us frequently in Cuero. A few cocktails and blowing some smokes.
We were privileged to attend their 50 year anniversary celebration.  Wonderful photos , music and delicious food. 
They will be in our hearts and memories always
Both were so proud of their family. Family was their everything.

It was always a joy to visit with Aunt Fern.  I found this picture of her when she was a nursing student in the 50’s.

So sorry to hear about Fern.   I met her many times when I worked with Neil at Mims.

I am so sorry to hear about Fern. She was such a great lady and nurse. I  enjoyed working with her so much. She was always friendly, fun to work with and  always smiling. Love and comfort to the family. Susan

I am so sorry for family’s loss.  I know that she left you with many wonderful memories.  I worked with Fern for many years.  She was a joy to work with, and she did what was needed to get the job done. Fern was a hard worker.  I also remember laughing often with her.  I was always blessed and encouraged by the joy and love that she and Neil shared.  She loved her family.  Be encouraged.  Fern’s beautiful legacy lives on in her family.  Praying for a peace that surpasses all understanding.  

I worked with Fern for many years at NW Memorial (Memorial Hermann Greater Heights).  She taught me so much about how to be an amazing nurse.   She showed all her patients such love and respect.  God bless her family during this time of loss.

I worked with Fern for many years at Memorial Northwest (now Memorial Hermann Greater Heights).  I will always remember her has such a kind and giving co-worker, who was also so good to her patients.  Godspeed to her large family.  I know she will be missed.

Always loved when Aunt Fern came to Kansas City to visit!! She was always happy to see us and we were always happy to see her and visit with her.  I will miss her dearly!!
