Pat we share your loss of this dear man who so brightened our lives with his warm presence and caring ways. He did love to sing. I. Bartel enjoyed our many lunches together and serving together on the Elder Board of CBC, where he led with wisdom even before he was Chairman. Beverly especially appreciated him driving all the way down to the Medical Center to visit after her shoulder surgery. A Dear and Precious Friend who leaves a big hole and is sorely missed.

Leon was such a sweet man. Robert and I am so happy to have known him. He greeted us nearly every Sunday with his warm smile and sweet, kind eyes. He will be dearly missed. Praying for all of you as you learn your new normal without him.

I will always remember and treasure that smile - Leon would sort of turn his head a bit sideways, and his eyes would get a bit bigger and almost sparkle, and he would have his private chuckle, and then respond with wisdom.

Pat, for those of us privileged enough to have both of you as our FSG leaders, Leon leaves a huge hole that cannot be filled. He will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to know him.

My best to you Pat in the days to follow.

Pat,
So sorry to hear of Leon's death but know he was instantly with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We all long to be there. Even though we haven't spent time together I will always remember our quartet and singing praises to our God and Savior. You know he's singing with all the awesome quartet singers already up there. I will pray for you and your family as you go through this grieving time. Love you. Joy Daniels.
