Leon graduated from Sam Houston High School. He was also a member of the United States Air Force, he worked for Sigma Electronic. Leon had a passion for hunting, fishing, music and bingo.
Leon is preceded in death by his father, Bill J. Wierzbicki. He is survived by mother, Gertrude B. Wierzbicki; brothers: Eugene, James, Raymond and wife Rosie, and brother, Willie; sisters Lucy, and Susan; also left to cherish his memory, niece, Katherine.
The family will accept extended family and friends for visitation on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 5pm to 7pm with a Rosary to follow at 7pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Brookside Funeral Home in the Family Chapel at 10:30am with a burial to follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
