Leonarda was married to Christoffel Ter Harkel on April 1, 1964. She is survived by her daughter Maria De Jesus; daughter Sonja; daughter Suzette; and son Chris; grandchildren Kristy, Ivan and Joel.
She devoted herself to being a loving mother and a wonderful housewife. Leonarda had a passion for the great outdoors and dancing. She could be found on the dance floor of many weddings, enjoying the music.
A visitation for Leonarda will be held Monday, November 30, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, Texas 77023. A Rosary will occur Monday, November 30, 2020 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, Texas 77023. A committal service will occur Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale, Houston, Texas 77023.
