Marcia Lynn McLean

Marcia Lynn (McPhail) McLean went to be with her Lord and Savior in heaven on July 19, 2023 after first proclaiming that “Heaven is real!” during a near death experience and then later passing. Marcia was a beautiful, servant-hearted women and an artistic soul. She earned an associates degree and worked in health care for many years as an EMT/Medical Technician III. She courageously fought a nearly four year battle with cancer, While being lovingly supported by her son Zachary McPhail and husband Vincent McLean. She was also survived by her siblings Selena, Tony, Eric, Shannon, and mother Lucille McPhail. Marcia not only saved hundreds of lives and cared for thousands of sick and injured while working in two different emergency rooms in Houston and Austin, but she loved everyone she met. Marcia will be sorely missed. But her family takes comfort knowing she is no longer suffering and is finally in perfect peace in heaven.

A visitation/rosary will be held on Thursday, July 27th, 2023 at 1 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079. A funeral service will follow in the Pecan Venue at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery. A catered reception will be held in the Magnolia Venue at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery from 3-5 PM following the services.
