I cant remember a time when my aunt was not doing God's work. From hard times to happy times she was over joyed to share her passion and love for God. Best of all she practice every bit of what she preached. There have been many times during her earthly life that she did not hesitate to help me find God and my way again. She never grew tireless of helping me or others. She will be missed but in this way I'm happy to see her enter the Lords Kingdom. Knowing what she was willing and able to do on earth makes me excited to see what wonders she is capable of from Heaven. I Love you Aunt Marty!

I also wanted to add how I admired Marty how she always dressed so elegantly and how she accented her attire with her signature hats, scarves and jewelry. Such a lovely lady that I'm proud to call prima. You are an elegant angel! Chavela (Isabel) Tristan

Marty....I remember one time y'all came to Brookshire to visit and we all walked to the local drugstore. We looked at makeup, the girly girls that we were. A memory from long ago of times long gone but not forgotten. In these latter years, we only saw one another at funerals but I remember your greeting "cousin!" I know you are rejoicing with your hubby, your parents, your siblings but above all with Jesus. Until we meet again and we both shout "cousin!".... rest my dear cousin in the arms of our Lord... Love Chavela Tristan.

Martha (Marty) was a gracious lady. She was well mannered and polite. She always had kind words and prayers for everyone. She offered water to the thirsty, food to the hungry, and resources to the needy. She made sacrifices throughout her life everyday. Marty loved hats and scarves. I will miss her dropping by for a visit, our lunch dates and shopping sprees. Oh... how I will miss Marty! I will keep you close to my heart and in my prayers.
Rest in peace my beloved sister.
