Mary Audrey Jodzio

Mary Audrey Lyle Jodzio, 82, of Magnolia, Texas went peacefully to be with our Lord on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Kindred Hospital in Tomball, Texas.

Mary was born in Birmingham, Alabama, July 14, 1934 to Linwood and Ola Lyle, Mary was an excellent student quickly learning her passion was for family and small children. She married in 1952. Mary enriched her life with a large family and was passionate in her role as loving wife and mother. She enjoyed the outdoors, working in her yard, her gardens, and with her house plants, until her sickness several weeks ago.

Mary donated her time and resources to various charitable organizations throughout her life, and was an active member of St. Timothy Anglican Church in Tomball, Texas. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Mary is survived by her husband, Theodore Jodzio (Magnolia, TX), siblings Eloise Echols and husband Bill (Birmingham, AL), Pat Kennedy and partner Mary Ann (Stone Mountain, GA), and Vernon Lyle; children Mary Sottile and husband Carmen (Manvel, TX), Debbie Valdez (widowed, Houston, TX), Linda Melde and husband Keene (Woodinville, WA), Charlotte Woods (Houston, TX), Laura Mills and husband Greg (Hempstead, TX), Vincent Woods and wife Christi (Palm Coast, FL), and James Woods and wife Jeanette (Cypress, TX), stepchildren Teri Jodzio, David Jodzio and wife Heather (Houston, TX), and Teddy Jodzio Jr. (Houston, TX); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, and other family members and close friends.

Mary is preceded in death by daughter Susan Koontz, son Michael Woods, stepdaughter Deb Jodzio, sister Rose Marie Lyle, and brother Linwood Vincent Lyle, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Timothy Anglican Church, 6819 Louetta Rd., Spring, Texas 77379.
