At 18 she moved to Houston for a better life. She was always working to support her family back
at home. Looking out for her late father, Eduardo Campos. She was a devoted and loving
wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a strong high spirited woman, always seeing the good
in people. A day never went by where she didn’t make anyone smile with her charismatic
personality. She was loved by her friends and coworkers. There was never a dull moment with
her. She left a mark on everyone's life in a positive way and now she'll be watching over us as our
new guardian angel.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, John Chavez, her 3 children, Jonathan Chavez
age 11, Crystian Campos age 29, and John Marquis Chavez age 23. Also left to cherish her memory are her 2 beautiful grandchildren, Geoavannie Urrabas age 19 and Felicity Urrabas age 22.
A visitation for Nora will be held Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A rosary will be recited from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 21, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A committal service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM,
