Peggy "Boofie" Booth

Boofie loved The Lord and was constantly sharing The Gospel as well as the Love of Our Lord with others; touching the lives of the many who crossed her path. Boofie lived her life by this scripture:

1 PETER 3:15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.

She was the last of 8 children born to Nelda and Andrew Jackson. Peggy Booth met and married William E. Booth in 1948 and they were happily married until his death in October 2000. She is survived in death by her three children, who she loved dearly, William “Bill” Booth Jr. and wife Cindy of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Margaret King of Houston, Texas, and Marilyn Simpson of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by grandchildren, Larry (Trey) Reifschneider and wife Christina of Katy, Texas, Joshua Simpson and wife Justin Lieb of Altadena, Calfornia, Jacob Booth and wife Kelsey of Oklahoma, Jesica Simpson of Westchester, Pennsylvania, Alisha Booth of Choctaw, Oklahoma, and Allen Bolden of Tennessee. She is also survived in death by great-grandchildren Elizabeth Grace, Seth, Dylan, Luke, Lucas, Hannah, Noah and Turner.

She is preceded in death by her mother Nelda C. Mouser-Jackson and Father Andrew James Jackson, husband, William Earnest Booth, all seven siblings, and grandson Robert Spencer King, Jr.
