Suzanne was such a beautiful sweet soul, so kind, beautiful inside & out, & generous. We worked together & I will never forget her.  I am so very sorry for your loss.  Apologies that I could not make it to the funeral.  You are in my thoughts & prayers during this difficult time.
We have another angel in heaven watching over us.

When "Sue", as I have always known her, moved to Pecos, her father and my mother worked at Burkholder Brothers.  We were in Jr. High and would walk home together and wait at one of our houses for our parents to pick us up after work.  We "Karaoked" (before there was Karaoke!) all our favorite songs, made up dance routines to go along with the music and had a million laughs!  Somewhere in there we did our homework and any chores lined up for us., and somehow they were all easier when shared with a friend.   We tried out for cheerleader together and practiced our cheers till the cows came home.  We went to our first formal  Christmas dance with double dates and later had the flu at the same time. These are some of my fondest memories of my entire school career.
   
In 1959 I moved to Arkansas and lost touch with Sue.  I learned later that her family had moved to Fort Stockton.  Then in 2009 (FIFTY YEARS LATER) we were reunited through email!  I always intended to go see Sue, but life, divorce, and heart surgery interfered.  And now I find that I will will have to wait for a heavenly reunion....wonder if there will be "Karaoke" up there?  
Sue was my "best friend" in the truest sense of the word, and I have always regretted that we lost touch after Jr. High.  I never knew Sue to say an unkind word about anyone....she was a sweet, sweet soul and I loved her.

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to her family.

Cant believe your really gone. You were the best Stepmom ever. We all will miss you. I'm sure your up in heaven enjoying  the Margaritas and Enchiladas. I know your an angel looking down and going to take care of my Dad. Until we meet again. We all love you.
