

Richard Julius Dudkiewicz, Spring Hill, Florida, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and loving family on Friday, October 27, 2017. Richard and Stefanie were true soulmates and had celebrated 53 years of marriage. They have two sons, their youngest Brian and eldest Richie, along with his wife Toni, and his two grandchildren Patrick and Brooke. He is also survived by his sister Mary Jane along with nieces, nephews, and other family members. Richard was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and joined the Air Force where he served in Vietnam and stationed at Plattsburgh Air Force Base. Richard was given an honorable discharge from the Air Force where then, he and Stefanie returned back home to Buffalo, NY. They remained there until Richard retired from the Ford Motor Company in 2003 and then relocated to Spring Hill, FL in 2010. Richard was a very accomplished bowler where he earned many awards, trophies, and eleven 300 rings. He had an incredible passion for softball, horseshoes, and golf (where he accomplished a hole in one in 2015). He was also a very devoted fan of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres. Richard created fabulous memories and was adamant to continue the past family traditions on to future generations. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Nov. 3, 9:30 a.m. at the St. Francis Cabrini Church on 5030 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL, 34609. The family request that all donations will be made to Hospice Care of Hernando County Florida.
