Mario was born to Francisco Alcantar and Lorraine on November 13, 1975. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved the thrill of the hunt and wildlife preservation. Mario was very passionate about his line of work in retail loss prevention. He enjoyed the investigation aspect of his work and always went above and beyond.
Mario is survived by his two children Mario Jr. and Lilliana. He is also survived by his parents Frank and Susie Alcantar, and Lorraine Hassler. Also his siblings Francisco Jr., Robert, Carissa, and Alexis. Mario was predeceased by his son, Nathaniel.
Aside from being an avid outdoorsman, Mario was an amazing cook. He always was eager to share a new recipe or have someone try his food. In addition, Mario was a vivid storyteller and had the amazing power of knowing how to bring people together to make them smile. Mario had a positive effect on anyone he met and knew. He will truly be missed.
While Mario left us too soon, his love and positivity for everyone will be felt for the years to come. He had many titles in his life but his favorite role was being a father. He loved nothing more than spending time with his children Mario Jr. and Lilliana. He was always there for them, whether advising or cheering them on at a sporting event and the list goes on.
A visitation for Mario will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 26, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326. A committal service will occur Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326.
