Vivian Elaine (Murphy) Regello born January 24, 1957 in Modesto, CA, to Carl and Virginia Murphy. Vivian has 5 siblings, Linda Reed of Lakeside, Arizona, Randy Murphy of Riverbank, Nelson Murphy of Stockton, Diania Barker of Ceres and Kenneth Murphy of Oakdale. She grew up in Hughson, Livingston and Ceres. Vivian attended the first three years of her high school at Livingston High School and her senior year at Ceres High School where she graduated in 1975. She worked at the Family Recreation and Bus Stop (family business) in Livingston, Regal Gas Station in Ceres, Tri Valley Growers in Modesto, Haig Berberian Nuts in Modesto (where when she was pregnant with her son Joshua Lancaster she picketed with her coworkers and they gave her a baby shower on the picket line while picketing), Campbell Soup in Modesto (where she met her husband Clifford “Cliff”Regello), Norwell Hiring Agency in Modesto and AT&T Call Center in Atwater.

Vivian married Cliff June 25, 1988 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Ceres. She and her husband raised four boys, Jason (Tammy) Regello, Michael (Sarah) Regello, Joshua Lancaster and Keith Lancaster. They have 10 grandchildren, Tiffanie Regello (Dylan), Kristi Regello, Jessica Regello, Jake Regello, Nicholas Regello, Rayleigh Elwess, Mileigh Regello, Kenzie Lancaster, Kiera Lancaster and Kingston Lancaster. They also have 3 great grandchildren, Ryder, Aubrie and Siya.

Vivian enjoyed crocheting blankets for others and making cakes. She enjoyed doing different craft projects when she could. Vivian would get excited about going to the Casinos to play the slot machines and camp in the RV parks at the Casinos with her friends. She loved spending time with her family camping and just hanging out together.

Vivian was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2015 and received extensive treatment for the cancer. After being told her cancer was in remission she worked hard to improve her health by working out at the gym every day for 2 hours and changed her eating. She was so proud of her outcome. In 2017 she was informed her cancer had metastasized into her spine. From there her cancer just progressed even with treatment. Vivian fought hard and long trying to stay healthy and happy but the cancer continued to spread throughout her body. She was a very strong person and did not give up but the cancer took her away from her family. She was not a person that would give up easily.

I still can’t accept that you’re no longer sharing this earth with us. My beautiful cousin your laughter was so infectious and your smile lit up the room. Your love for your family knew no bounds. You fought such a hard battle and no matter how hard we prayed for you to beat that cancer, God was ready to call you home. I know we will see you again when we get there, but in the meantime we are denied your presence here. Tomorrow is never promised, but the knowledge that we will see you again someday healthy, strong and full of fun is. Thank you, God, for gracing our lives with a truly wonderful woman.

Our dearest Vivian, you will be missed by all. We shared special moments when I just entered this family. You always made me feel welcomed even the second time. We have butterflies by the dozens in our back yard, so every time we go out there we think of you. Until we meet again in heaven May god be with you.

Grandma,

I still can’t believe you are gone. I remember all the fun times we had. I remember spending the night with you and papa with Nay and Jess. I remember going birthday shopping every year and having lunch together. We miss you so much. You were such an amazing woman and always had the brightest smile on your face! I keep playing in my head, “He’s here! He’s here!”, when I was in labor with Ryder. I’m so glad you were able to be in the delivery room with me. I will forever cherish you and the babies will both know who you were and that you loved them very much! You will be honored at the wedding and I know I will make you proud. Until we meet again grandma! We love you!

Vivian you were always there when I needed someone and helped me through my troubles. I cherish the days we spent together even to the end. You were so strong even in the worst of times, you were an amazing person. Our family chain has been broken but will be whole again when we all join you again with mom and dad. Give all the family a big hug and kiss and tell them we will see them again when the lord calls on us. We have all the memories of growing up and that is what is going to keep us going even in the worst times. Love and miss you sis!

Mom,
Miss you so much already, still doesn't seem real. You were such an amazing mother in law. I will cherish all the amazing memories we had together! Especially when I was in labor with kenzie and you rushing to the hospital from work and then you telling me ok you can cus me out now when you got there! Lol but most of all I was miss our friendship! Life changed for me in ways I never imagined, but that didn't stop you from loving me! I will so badly miss seeing you interacting with the girls, but Josh and I will make sure they never ever forget you! Remember when Kenzie used to call you grandmer? Lol
Until we meet again, I will always hold a special place in my heart for you!❤
Love you always, Jennifer

My dearest auntie 💕 I miss you more than words could say. I remember all the sleep overs I had at your house in Riverbank, I remember you teaching me to put on makeup. I remember how excited you always got when my parents went away for a weekend and you got to be my stand in mom and then stand in grandma when Dillon was born; you always had to text me and tell me lol. Your smile could always light up a room. I will cherish the memories and laughs and good times we shared for always. You were such a caring and beautiful person and it just isn’t fair that you had to go. I love you forever. 🦋
