Allen Dale Hulin

Allen Hulin, 77, passed away on July 1st at 10:00 p.m. in Tomball, Texas. Allen was born in Port Arthur, Texas, and graduated salutatorian from Saint Mary’s High School, Class of ’59, in Port Arthur, Texas. He graduated from Lamar University with a degree in chemical engineering. His early career included Hess Oil. He spent the majority of his career working for the Harris County Appraisal District. Allen was a devoted member of Real Life Church. Allen is preceded in rest by his daughter, Angela, and his parents Elite and John Hulin. Allen is survived by his wife Gloria Hulin, brother and sister-in-law Marlon and Arleen Hulin, daughter Lara Hulin, nephew Scott Hulin and family, niece Melissa Turnquist and family, stepdaughter Terrie Payne and family, stepson's Bobby Payne and family, and Roger Payne, 3 grandchildren, and many additional loving family and friends. Visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on July 5th from 4:00-8:00 PM. The Committal Service will be the following day, July 6th, at 10:00 AM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home in Humble, Texas.

I remember Uncle Allen as a very kind gentle soul ..One who loved everyone he met..and everyone he met love him back..I'm not going to pretend that I knew him well ,however, I'm very proud to have known him even the slightest . What I do know is that he was loved and he loved back . Love you Uncle Allen ...

I will always remember Allen by his words of wisdom, his gentle soul and smile and laughter! Each summer I came down to Houston, I always looked forward to visiting him and my aunt Gloria. He will be missed by many. My love and prayers to all of you.

Uncle Allen joined our family 33 years ago. He was a really great guy. Who loved my Aunt Gloria so much. He made her life so happy. He was so friendly and funny. He was a true Christian man who loved being apart of our family as we did him. He will be truly missed.
