Elaine Carol Schlauer, 84, resident of Feasterville, passed away on December 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Elaine enjoyed traveling, puzzles, gardening, painting, and keeping the house clean. She was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Lincoln High School. She worked for many years at Smith-Kline & French in Center City and later at Asplundh. She was a devoted worker who prided herself on organization.

She was preceded in death by her father Frank and mother Mamie (nee Schultz) Schlauer as well as, her brothers Frank Schlauer Jr. and Albert Schlauer. Elaine is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Buffardi, Evelyn Moosher, her nephew Steven and his wife Lisa (nee Milligan) her grand-niece Madison Elaine and grand-nephew Steven whom she lived with for the last year of her life. She is also survived by nieces; Linda (nee Moosher) and Roger Roth as well as their children Laura and Julia. Her niece Janet Moosher, Diane (nee Moosher) and her husband Tim Ryan.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday January 2nd 2019 from 10 to 11 AM at the Lamb Funeral Home 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley PA on, at 10 AM. Interment will be immediately following, at Sunset Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Philadelphia and Delaware Valley Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation 150 Monument Rd #402 Bala Cynwyd, PA, 19004.
