Mary Jane (Phillips) Sneff, 82, passed away in her home with family by her side on January 1, 2019, at Frederick Living in Frederick, PA. Beloved wife of the late John Radke Sneff and loving mother to her children: Mark (Sally) Sneff, Susan (Thomas) Rambo and Paula (James) Lyons and adoring grandmother to her grandchildren: Lauren, Emily, Thomas, Chelsea, Christopher, Michael, and Paige. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.
Mary Jane was a long-time member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. She enthusiastically embraced life at Frederick Living, enjoying her work at the gift shop, attending scholarly and social events, and singing in the choir. Her artistic talents included sewing, ceramics, stained glass, crocheting and knitting, most famously, her Christmas stockings. Mary Jane created preemie baby hats in this last year, once more giving back to the community in her own way.
Mary Jane was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who greatly enjoyed her years of traveling with her husband and sharing her time and talents with her friends and family. She will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, January 7, 2019, at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 AM with interment immediately following at Forest Hills/Shalom Memorial Park, Huntington Valley.
