Thelma was always so enjoyable to spend time with - her friendly smile and chipper personality would brighten the day! On my trips from SC to visit the family in Indiana, Thelma often made a delicious Crispex Mix of cereal pieces, M & M's, peanuts & pretzels with a super yummy white chocolate vanilla coating. People enjoyed this tasty sweet treat wherever she took it! She would "change it up" - as she once told me - by using different colors of M & M's depending on the season - like red & green for Christmas time and pastel colors for Easter! I still have the handwritten recipe card she wrote me several years ago & I think of her every time I see it! She even jotted on the card: "Warning. These are addictive!!!" My life has been blessed by knowing Thelma & I thank the Good Lord for the opportunity to have spent time with her! Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow!

My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going. John 14 : 2-4

Mrs. Lewis was our neighbor for 28 years. She was a very special lady. Our grand children stood in her driveway to catch the school bus and when it was raining she would come out and invite them to stand on her porch. She always had a smile and a hello for everyone. We will miss her. Prayers for the family.
