Eileen R. Coursey

Eileen was born in Schenectady, New York on September 24, 1930 to the late George A. and Yvonne D. (Surprenant) Ivons. She graduated from Somerville High School and later worked as a second grade elementary school teacher at Healey School in Somerville. She and her late husband William enjoyed activities and functions on the Cape where they summered and in Florida.

Eileen is predeceased by her husband, William J. Coursey (2002) and her sister, Anita Ivons. She is survived by her loving daughter, Yvonne Coursey, and her 5 nephews.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Doane, Beal, & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main St. Hyannis, MA, followed by a 11 a.m. Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, 347 South St. in Hyannis. Cremation services and future burial will be private.
