Born in New Bedford on October 9, 1969, she was a daughter of Sonny and Maureen Tavares.
In addition to her parents, Gina is survived and will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Arianna and Jade Tavares; four grandchildren, Mason, Brianna, Braydon, and Brendon; a brother, Brandon Tavares; and two sisters, Lisa Gonsalves and Sherri Monteiro; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Spending time with family was most important to Gina, particularly her grandchildren whom she loved and cherished dearly.
