Aunt Mely is my Godmother, truly loved by me and anyone who knew her. She and Uncle Jim took their roles as my Godparents very seriously and were always so good to me, my mom Dids and sister Annabelle. Aunt Mely always shared her faith and steered me in the right direction many times. She had a wonderful sense of humor and had a way of making me laugh again as she wiped away my tears. I will really miss her. My heart goes out to Jeanette, Jimmy, Johnny, Alexis and all the family. I love you all and am praying for Our Lord’s comfort in your grief.

As my heart grieves the loss of my Auntie Mely, I was fortunate, as was my family, to be a part of her life. She has blessed us with so many memories, all of which have made us laugh and smile. Your spirit will remain in my heart forever, and while I am sad--not for you, Auntie Mely, because you have reached that ultimate level--but I am sad for everyone here, myself included, for we can only have your presence from our memories of you. Thank you for loving us, and especially, thank you for your presence.

Janet, Jimmy, and Johnny, you know your Mom was like a second mother to me. All my life, she was my "go to" when I had things I couldn't discuss with my mother. She was funny, she loved life, but more than anything, she loved her family and I was so lucky to be included. She will be missed so much. She was one in a million.

May God's eternal light shine upon her and give her peace. She is with your Dad and is smiling down on each of you. Rest in Peace Mely...you were well and truly loved.
