I'M SO SORRY TO SEE THIS! I WORKED WITH MARIE AT FOX HILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND LOVED HER DEARLY!!! SHE WAS SUCH A HARD WORKER AND A JOY TO BE AROUND. I LOST CONTACT WITH MARIE AFTER I RETIRED FROM WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP BUT ALWAYS THOUGHT ABOUT HER OFTEN ESPECIALLY AT CHRISTMAS TIME WHEN I WOULD START DECORATING MY TREE BECAUSE SHE GAVE ME A WATERFORD CLOWN ORNAMENT THAT I HAVE ALWAYS CHERISHED!!! SHE WAS SUCH A KIND, SWEET PERSON AND I'M SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS!!! GOD SPEED MISS MARIE!

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Nellie. She was such a wonderful person who brought great comfort to us when her sister, Jim's mother, Leona was passing. From your La Porte cousins, our heartfelt sympathy on your Mom's passing. May she rest in peace.

Marie was one of the kindest, sweetest ladies I’ve ever known. She was also very fun to be around. I miss the talks, the shopping, and the fun we used to have. She was always willing to shop, just like my own mother still is. We both loved to read, and we would trade books all the time. I remember, in particular, one very fun vacation she and I took to Florida, and also all the fun times at the lake with her and Al. I was blessed to know her as a mother-in-law, but more importantly, as a friend. She was also a wonderful grandmother to Nick and all her other grandchildren. Love and miss you, Marie! And love to all the family. You were lucky to have her in your lives for so many years.
