My mother Lois Arlene was close friends with Mable for 75+ years, dating back to farm days in Northern Indiana. Is that some kind of record, these days? I enjoyed the stories of their outings and family doings. Plenty of meals were shared and card games played, with Carl and mystepdad Harry Miller. I participated regularly, in my visits from California. I am sad for your loss and heartened by her many friendships.

I was one of many who helped to take care of Mable at Independent Adult Day. She was a very classy lady and we all loved her hats. She was always trying to fix my cloths and loved putting blankets together like she was going to sew them. She will be missed. But heaven has a new angel to help out.

Mabel was a lovely lady with a beautiful spirit. She always had a smile and a hug every time she greeted me. I will miss her infectious laugh and the twinkle in her eyes. God gained one of the very best people. Enjoy eternity with Jesus, Mabel! We will miss you so very much!
