Mary was my Marian Mentor and Friend. She was kind, generous, loving, and honest. Mary, Ken Elmendorf, and Roy Pille were the foundation and pillars of our Accounting and Business Department at Marian in the early years and for many years. GREAT people and colleagues! Mary was known by our students for her excellent teaching, dedication, and kindness.
THANK YOU Mary!
Love,

I was at Marian college from 1966-1970. I majored in Business Administration. At that time, there were no real guidance counselors. Mary was very helpful not only in providing advice, but also as a superb teacher of accounting/business. One always has a few teachers that you always remember. Mary was one of those teachers for me.

Sending love to the family and friends of our longtime volunteer Mary Malatesta. Mary started with Indiana Reading & Information Services (IRIS) in the 80s when the service was located at Butler University under the name Central Indiana Radio Reading Inc (CIRRI). During her service she dedicated over 3,000 hours reading the Indy Star Newspaper on Thursdays, retiring in November 2014. Thank you, Mary, for your time and dedication to the print-impaired Hoosiers of Indiana. Your friends at IRIS are still thinking of you.
