Mollie professed her faith in Christ at an early age and was always very active in the church.
Mollie enjoyed playing cards, going to Bingo and the Casino, Cooking, Gardening, Giving Advice, Traveling and Singing.
Mollie's passion for singing brought her to join the Keys of Harmony in 1954. She sang with the group for 54 years and was the last surviving member of the original group.
Mollie Franklin entered peacefully into rest on January 12, 2019 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was proceeded in death by her parents Harrison Sr. and Lucille Sloan, her husband Thomas Franklin, siblings Alex Sloan, Shelby Sloan, Albert Sloan, James Sloan, Harrison Sloan Jr., Jerry Sloan, Eugene Sloan, Frances Stennette, Eddie Mae Davis(Polly), and Shirley Vance.
She leaves to cherish her memory Brother Charles (Cal) Sloan, Daughters Cassie Goodner, and Linda Rogers, Grandchildren Keith Rogers Jr., Aisha (Brandon) Ingram, LaKeisha (Kiheem) Brown, and Krista Coyle. 13 Great Grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Relatives, Friends, and Bonus Kids.
