I have beautiful memories of you, Noel but mostly will remember your kind friendship and jest for life. I was most fortunate to be with you sharing our love of teaching and art, trips to galleries and shows, walks, exercising together, outdoor painting at Newfields and talks of our families. Thank you Noel for taking me under your wing when my husband died and including me in all your club activities. How special you made me feel. I am here for you Mike, if you need me. I loved Noel. I enjoyed working with Noel at the Benjamin Harrison Garden and visiting with her during our Arbutus Garden luncheons. Noel’s smile and graciousness was a gift to all of us. There will be a void left to all her knew her. I will miss her terribly.

I was so very sadden and shocked to read about the lose of the wonderfully talented and gifted teacher that is Noel. I worked and taught along side Noel when I first started my career many years ago. She has always been one of my favorite people in this world. Although we were not good at keeping in touch , I thought of her often and she remained always in my heart. I am so disappointed that I am out of town and will be unable to attend her memorial. I will lift a glass and blessing in your name Saturday Noel ! You were the best!!

Beautiful, kind, loving, talented, thoughtful, friend - just a few of many descriptive words describing our Noel. What a shock to hear of her passing! Noel has left a void in all of the lives she has touched and she will be sorely missed. I'm blessed to have known and worked with her in Arbutus, Fortnightly and the Benjamin Harrison Home.
Mike my heart goes out to you - know you are not alone in your loss. Anything I can do please don't hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,
Barbara Summers

Mike I was so sorry to hear of Noel's passing. I finally got a chance to get to know her a little when you both came to visit during Annie's recovery in the hospital. We both discovered quickly we loved to try new recipes an really enjoyed seeing other people enjoy it! You have my deepest sympathy.

Noel was one of the sweetest and most positive people I have had the pleasure to know. Always offering her assistance, and gracing any occasion of which she was part. She added such elegance and beauty to the garden excursions we shared. Thank you, Mike, and her siblings, for sharing her with us all.
