Wilna Rachel Miller, age 90, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Thursday December 13, 2018. Wilna was born May 3, 1928 in Morristown, Indiana to Nola Mariah (Barnard) Linville and Luther Chandis Linville. She was a member of Little Blue River Friends Church her entire life. She faced some difficult life situations but rose out of her despair by the faith that God was stronger than the things of this world. At the age of 65, after being a homemaker and caring for her family, she began working at KMART for over 20 years. She was loved by everyone she met, especially at KMART, where her line was the favored checkout lane despite the fact you couldn't see her over the register. She traveled the world with her family and also enjoyed filling in as babysitter for many of her grandchildren. Any guest could expect ice cream or sweets courtesy of her sweet tooth. If you visited later in the day, before your dessert, you would find her reading or keeping her mind active by doing some type of puzzle. She was the ear you could always talk to and she would always be your champion.

Wilna is survived by; daughter Angela "Angie" Foley; son Randen Miller (Gail); daughter Alane Harper (Charles "Chuck"); daughter Atina "Tina" Drake (Charles "Charlie"); son Rex Miller; daughter Anita Smith (Ron); brother John Linville; daughter-in-law, Christina "Chris" Miller; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.

Wilna was preceded in death by her father Luther Chandis Linville; mother Nola Mariah (Barnard) Linville; husband of 47 years William Berl Miller; infant son Anthony Miller; son Roger Miller; son-in-law Tim Foley; brother Sharon Linville; sister Mary Jean Bennett; brother Joe Linville; and twin brother Bill Linville.

So sorry to the family on your loss! I remember seeing Wilna working at Kmart and would always try to get in her lane, she was so sweet and always had a wonderful way about her. loved this women she was the sweetest person I knew and worked with her at KMart for several years. I called her at least every other week when she retired to chat. She was so nice to talk too and such a Godly woman and I will miss our little chats. So sorry for the family but know she is in a much better place. My prayers are with the family..

Prayers are going out for the entire family on the passing of sweet, precious Wilna. I will love her for always. She has been an amazing Grandma to my children, with an incredible, enduring Christian witness. I know Christmastime can make a loss especially painful. But thanks be to God she is alive in Christ. She is celebrating Jesus's birthday this year...with Jesus. Love to all the family.
