I can remember as a child my aunt Christena staying with us in our home.

I was running around our house one day burning up some energy. Aunt Christena would shake her head and say better slow down, God will get ya.

I remember running into the kitchen wiping out ass over tea kettle on a freshly waxed floor. She giggled and said I told you God would get you.

Ever since that day if she said God will get ya (something she said often to me) I would give her a second look wondering if she had a direct line to God...

She would put me on her lap and pinch both my cheeks saying I was a cheeky little devil. Every time we would talk over the years she would say why there you are you cheeky little devil and pinch my cheeks. : )

I'm all the better person having her in my life.

She will be missed, but having said that we all have wonderful memories we hold dear to our heart for her.

One of my favourite people and a good friend the likes of which most people don't deserve, I have many fond memories of fishing, hunting playing cards and talking "rasslin" with Christena. she was a trooper and took excellent care of my boys when they were young. Being a storyteller I still include many memories of her in my ramblings. My most sincere condolences to all of her family.
