Richard Edward Denny

Graveside services will be at 3 pm Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Highland Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Jack Jordan officiating. Services are entrusted to Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, Texas.

Richard was born February 6, 1933 in Holliday, Texas to the late Lester R. and Era Carter Denny. He served in the US Army and has been a self employed truck driver for several years.

His parents, wife, Jewel and 5 siblings, Lester M. Denny, Johnny Joe Denny, Henry Dexter Denny, Era Mae Rosdhal and Carrolyn Barfield preceded him in death.

His survivors include a daughter, Jane Ellen Scott and husband, William of Georgetown, Texas; grandchildren, Sean Turner and wife, Kristi of Electra, Texas, Deana Skinner and husband, Eric of Burkburnett, Texas and Melissa Doggett and husband, Steven of Venus, Texas; great grandchildren, Paige Turner, Brayden Turner, Tyler Skinner, Addyson Skinner, Ashtyn Doggett and Charly Doggett; Siblings, Ella Jane Hart of Wichita Falls, Texas, Marrie Hanson of Ringgold, Texas and Joyce Mehrman of Fostoria, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 pm until 8 pm, Monday, January 21, 2013 at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas.
