I am absolutely shocked to learn of Ann's passing. I live two doors down and had no idea. I wish I could have paid my respects. My memory of Ann is when I'd see her and Bobby walking through the neighborhood and they'd stop to talk. I am hard pressed to think of a nicer, more welcoming soul than Ann. And she and Bobby were the most loving, respectful, happy couple. I wish she had lived to be 100. I am so very sorry for your loss, Bobby.

There will never be words to express my sadness...I can only hope that knowing how much she loved each of you will stay in your heart and bring some measure of peace.

I'm keeping you close in my prayers.

I found out after the fact and this really broke my heart. From the time I started my research position, fresh out of grad school, Ann was always very understanding and openly welcoming.Standing in her office early mornings while we looked out of her window and chatted about everything under the sun was the only thing that kept me grounded sometimes. She will definitely be missed.

Mr. Cassidy, Brandon,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The photos you've shared reminded me of the warmth and love that emanated from your family--specifically from Ann, who was the very heart of you two wonderful men. I cherish the many hours I spent in your home and on vacation with your family as a kid, and I feel so lucky to have known you all. Please accept my deepest sympathies. Both of you--and your husband Matthew--are in my thoughts and prayers.
