Jananne was my best friend from the time we were about 13 until our children were born. I spent many days at her house on Burton Avenue in Macon, we borrowed each other clothes, went on road trips to Daytona Beach with Ms. Sara and her friend, talked on the phone endlessly about boys, school, dances, clothes, fell in love and had our babies. We once gave each other a bottle of the same perfume for Christmas on purpose because we thought it was the best - a drug store brand that smelled to high heaven and not in a good way. I remember the day you were born, Missy, and how much you were loved. She helped me decide what to name my son. I have so many wonderful memories of your mother and will never forget her. She was a very special and beautiful lady.
May God bless you all.

Mimama was one of the kindest people I will probably ever know. She had the best sense of humor and always had a way of lighting up any room she entered. I have so many childhood memories that have her in it. From the Halloween party's, to snow days making the children in the neighborhood hot chocolate, to her New Years Eve party's. Her family was so blessed to have such a great woman as a mother, grandmother, even mother in law. She will truly be missed by many, including myself. It will be hard to look across the street and see her house with out her fiddling with something in her yard. Love you for ever and always!

Sara and Family,

I am so saddened by the news of Mimama passing. The few times I was able to be around her, her personality was so infectious and she made everyone feel as if they had known her for forever. You all are so blessed to have had her as your Mimama. You all will be in my prayers.
