Henrietta B Capton

Henrietta was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi to Monroe Baughn and Vera Johnson. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and sewing. She loved collecting cook books, and was often known to read them as if they were novels.

Henrietta is preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Vera; husband, Lee Capton; brother, Monroe Baugn; and sisters, Ann Hutchinson and Margie Sloan.

She is survived by her daughter, Vera Capton; sons, Richard Capton (Loria) and Larry Capton (Brenda); brother, Baynon Jones; grandchildren, Chuck Woodall (Tina), Emalee Capton, David Capton, Jr. (Monica), John Capton (Sara), and Christi Brantley (Mitch); great grandchildren, Madisynn, Mackenzi, Baynon, Hayes, Audrey, Liam, Marianne, and Audrey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 15, 2019 with a visitation one hour prior.
