Myrtle C Maddox

Myrtle Maddox, 93, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020. A funeral service will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson, Mississippi on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 2:00 pm with a visitation one hour prior.

Myrtle was a long time member of Hillcrest Baptist Church of Byram. She retired from South Central Bell after thirty five years of service. She enjoyed crocheting and puzzles in her free time.

Myrtle is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Lula Cleveland, and her sister, Mildred Barrett.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol McAfee (Carlos); son, Don Maddox (Johnnie); five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church at 5950 Terry Road Byram, Mississippi 29272.
