Of Jackson, MI went peacefully at the age of 83 to be with the Lord on the evening of Sunday, May 10th, 2020. She is survived by her husband Jim, and their four children; Jim Allcock Jr., Bill (Sarah) Allcock, Becci (Brandon) Bowen, and Herbie (Angela) Allcock, and their nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Jewel (Burns) Johnston, and her sister Linda Sue. Jannette was born in Oakton, KY and grew up in nearby Cayce, KY. She moved to Jackson, Michigan in 1956 to be closer to her husband while he was stationed at Gary IN and remained there for the rest of her life. She worked as an accomplished seamstress and as a teacher’s aide later in life. She was a loving wife and mother and loved her church. Memorial services will be held at a later date yet to be determined.

This woman was so amazing. Step up keep siblings connected. She was always so funny. Have heart of gold for everyone. Very miss love you gone but not forgotten... she help me in many way by talking to me so much help me in many way. Very sorry sister and brother she was like a mom to me too.. We sty strong together!!! Love you pop Jim too

I am so sad, to read, that your Mother passed away. I had hoped to be able to meet her, but now I understand, why no response.
