My heart is so heavy right now but not without hope. My dear friend of about 20 or so years is not here. We shared so many wonderful times together even if most of them were at work. I watched as her daughters grew from childhood to beautiful young ladies. I got to share all her stories of them. I also worked with her sister Rose Mary. What a privilege and honor to share life together with those two. After I retired our lives went in separate directions, but once a friend always a friend. I cherish her friendship. Without a doubt I know where she rests now. May her precious family receive comfort in knowing our Lord is doing exactly as He promised. "I go to prepare a place for you and if I go to prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto Myself that where I am there you will be also" John14: 2-3 Thank you Lord for my friend Dianne.

Lonnie, we were so sorry to hear of the loss your precious wife. She was a lovely, gifted lady and will be greatly missed by the antique car club. She fought her battle with cancer with the same grace she lived her life. Oh, that we could all do that! May God strengthen you and your family with his comforting love.

Diane was a very sweet neighbor of mine ! I always enjoyed watching she and Lonnie drive by my house in their old antique cars .. I also enjoyed watching as they entertained their grandchildren who would ride bikes and scooters up and down the street . She will be dearly missed but knowing she’s in a better place and I’ll see her again one day is comforting in this sad day for our neighborhood . Praying for her family and friends🙏
