G. Truman Wooten was born on July 6, 1945 in Walnut Grove, MS. Truman passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 17th, 2021. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Wooten; mother, Sallie Mae (Stewart) Wooten, and his three sisters.

He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 56 years, Pricella A. Wooten; his sons, George T. Wooten, Jr. of Ridgeland, MS, and Jeff (Tina) Wooten of Madison, MS; three granddaughters, Addison (Kenny) Prechtl, Erica (Zack, Fiancé) Wooten, and Tristan Wooten; and his great granddaughter, Brayleigh Prechtl.
